# A sign that gives tours and keeps people informed.

> A QR code on a “to let” sign shows the property in photos and on video; on a building site, it explains the works to neighbours and gives a contact.

On a “for sale” or “to let” sign, a QR code opens a tour of the property in photos and on video. On a building-site sign, it presents the works to the neighbours: what is being built, for how long, and who to contact.

**Who it's for** : Estate agencies, Owners, Property developers, Construction companies, Architects, Local authorities and project owners, Property managers

## The problem: a sign that says too little

“To let” and a phone number, or a building-site sign full of legal notices: passers-by learn almost nothing.

- **No way to look around** Passers-by see neither the inside, nor the price, nor the size.
- **Pointless calls** The owner keeps answering the same questions.
- **Worried neighbours** Noise, duration, traffic: nobody explains the building site.
- **Outdated information** The end of the works has been pushed back, or the property is already let: the sign doesn't say.

## What the JeliCard can hold

- **Tour — The property in pictures** Photos of each room, a video tour, a floor plan, a view of the neighbourhood.
- **Info — Price and terms** Rent or price, size, service charges, deposit, availability, documents to provide.
- **Neighbourhood — Around the property** Schools, markets, transport, health care, a few minutes away.
- **Building site — The project explained** What is being built, pictures of the finished project, schedule, working hours.
- **Neighbours — Contact and progress** The site manager's number to tap and call, progress of the works in photos, upcoming disruption.

## What Jèli gives you

- **A viewing at any hour** Passers-by look around the property from the pavement, even in the evening.
- **Fewer pointless calls** Only genuinely interested people contact you.
- **Always up to date** “Let”, a new price, a new end date: you change the JeliCard and the sign stays.
- **Neighbours kept informed** A building site that is explained is better accepted.
- **In every language** A voice message for passers-by who don't read French.
- **Free and ad-free** People see only your property or your project.

## Your JeliCards travel around the world

A JeliCard is shared in one move: by text message, on social media, by email, on the internet, or simply by scanning the QR code from one phone to another. Your message travels across time and distance, and reaches every audience, here and elsewhere.

## What about Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp?

These tools are excellent, and you probably use them already. Jèli does not replace them: it does a different job.

### Instagram and TikTok — The networks that help people discover you

- **Ideal for** showing your news in photos and videos, and reaching new audiences.
- **Information** lives in a feed: new posts push the old ones down.
- **Access** mostly needs the app and an account; the algorithm decides who sees what.
- **Around it** other content and ads are shown too.

### WhatsApp — The messaging app that gets people talking

- **Ideal for** everyday conversations, answering questions, running a group.
- **Information** lives in a conversation: messages pile up and old ones are quickly lost.
- **Access** means having your number or being in the group.
- **Around it** are all the person's other conversations.

### Jèli — The reference page, in the right place

- **Ideal for** information that must stay available, attached to an object, a poster or a place.
- **Information** lives on a stable page: always in the same place, always up to date.
- **Access** takes a simple scan, with no account and no app.
- **Around it** no ads and no one else's content: only your message and your other JeliCards.

Social media and WhatsApp spread the listing. But the passer-by standing in front of the sign wants to see this exact property right now, or understand this particular building site. The QR code on the sign shows them in one move, without searching for the listing in a feed.

**It's not one or the other.** Put the links to your Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp accounts in the text of your JeliCard, and share your JeliCard on your networks: each tool does what it does best.

## How to do it

One JeliCard per property or per building site.

1. **Photograph** the property, or gather the project images.
2. **Write** the essential information: price, size, terms, or the works schedule.
3. **Record** a voice introduction.
4. **Create** the JeliCard for the property or the building site.
5. **Print the QR code** large on the sign, readable from the pavement.
6. **Update** as viewings go on or the works progress.
7. **Reuse** the sign for the next property or building site, simply by changing the content.

## Obstacles, and how to get past them

- **Not everyone has a smartphone** A relative, a seller or a community relay can scan and play it for them. The printed material still makes sense on its own.
- **Costly data, weak network** Short voice messages, light images, no app to download: the JeliCard opens fast, even with little data.
- **Few people know QR codes** Add the words “Scan to listen” and show the gesture once: after that, everyone knows how.
- **Sign exposed to the weather** Choose a material that stands up to sun and rain.
- **Building-site legal notices** They stay on the sign; the JeliCard adds the explanations.
- **Security of the property** Don't publish the exact address or the times when the home is empty; give the address after a first contact.

## Our tips

- Print the QR code large enough to be scanned from two or three metres away.
- Update as soon as a property is let or sold: it's the first thing passers-by ask.
- For a building site, post progress photos every month: neighbours follow along and grow less impatient.
- Keep the mandatory legal notices on the building-site sign: the JeliCard adds to them.
- Don't forget your business card: your name and a QR code that leads to all your activities.

> The sign says “to let” or “work in progress”. The JeliCard gives the tour and explains.
